Return/Refund Policy

We strive to provide you with the best possible service and products. To ensure efficient processing and timely delivery of orders, we have established the following policy:

 NON-CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION

Order Cancellation

 Please be informed that once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled. We initiate the packing process promptly to ensure timely dispatch.

Processing Time

 Your order will be sent to our warehouse for packing within 24 hours from your order placement.

Modifications

If you wish to make any modifications to your order, such as changes in quantity or equivalent value adjustments, kindly notify us before the cutoff time, i.e., within 24 hours. Note: No refunds will be issued against modifications; please ensure the total order value remains equivalent or higher.

Delivery Time-frame

 Domestic: 7-10 days

 Order Accuracy

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details, including product specifications, quantities, shipping addresses, and other relevant information before confirming the order.

RETURNS Yarns,

Crochets & Needles: 

All yarns, threads, needles, hooks, accessories and items related to knitting, crochet, sewing, etc. are Non-Refundable, Non-Exchangeable and Non-Returnable and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded. You should refuse to accept the shipment if the packaging is damaged or tampered with before delivery. Please return the package to the delivery person and Email the images of the shipment to us at tajknitworld@gmail.com. We triple check all our orders before we ship them. But in very rare cases, there could be manufacturing or color defects that slip through the quality check. If, in case, you have received a wrong/damaged/defective product, please let us know within 7 days of receipt of the order along with a complete unpacking video (one video from opening the shipment till identifying and highlighting the issue) to support the claim. We shall investigate the matter within 5 working days and provide a refund to your source account. Please note, a complete unpacking video is a must for us to investigate and resolve the matter. It also helps in raising insurance claims with the courier companies. No complaints can be entertained without a complete unpacking video.

Hand-knits:

 Our return policy for handmade finished products lasts for 7 days. If you are not 100% satisfied with our hand-knitted / crocheted products, you may return your order for a refund within the first 7 days of delivery. To qualify for a refund, all item(s) must be returned in their original condition, with all tags and packaging intact. Please be aware that all customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend that you use a traceable service, and keep hold of your certificate of posting until your refund has been issued. We reserve the right to not be held liable for parcels lost in transit. There are certain situations where refunds are not granted: * Obvious signs of use. * Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing accessories for reasons not due to our error. * Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.

REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. In the event your package returns (RTO) for any of the following reasons, the 2-way shipping costs [when free shipping is offered, the shipping charges will be calculated based on actual] will be deducted, and once you have paid the charges, the order will be reshipped. It is pertinent to note that in cases where an order has not been delivered for the following reasons, we will not issue a refund. 1. Consignee address incorrect. 2. Consignee phone incorrect. 3. Consignee not available / not contactable. 4. Consignee refused to accept. 5. OTP verified cancellation. 6. IVR (automated) / Calls not answered by the recipient. Refund processing should take 2-4 working days.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
